Meeri Meets the Ospreys

cover "Meeri Meets the Ospreys" is the true story of Vermonter Meeri Zetterstrom's effort to help a pair of ospreys successfully nest and breed at Lake Arrowhead. The children's book was published by Central Vermont public Service in 2001 to honor Meeri and show youngsters how anyone can have a positive impact on their environment.

The story chronicles years of effort by Zetterstrom, CVPS and the state to help a pair of ospreys hatch chicks at Lake Arrowhead for the first time in at least two decades.

The hardcover book was written by CVPS employee Steve Costello and illustrated by Castleton, Vt., resident Whitney Lamy.

It is available in all Vermont libraries, and can be read online by clicking on the cover of the book.
