Dubois FarmThe Dubois Farm came online and was producing electricity on Nov. 17, 2010.

Addison, Vermont

History: Alexis Dubois had 13 cows and a 100-acre farm in 1919, when he moved his family to Addison, Vermont from Canada. Today Dubois Farm Inc. is owned by the third generation of the Dubois: brothers Bernard, Michael and Andre. Currently, they have 1,250 cows producing over 30 million pounds annually which is sold thru the St. Albans Co-op.They crop over 2,500 acres of corn and hay to feed their 2,600 head of cattle.

Cows: 1,250 milking.

Production: The farm is expected to produce about 2 million kilowatt-hours annually.
