Location: North Troy, Vermont

History: Owned and operated by brothers and partners, Reg and Michael, the 1,800-acre farm nestled between the Jay Peak Ski Resort and Bear Mountain up along the Canadian border, has been in business since 1991 and is located in a region serviced by the Vermont Electric Co-op. They currently have 1,800 head of dairy cows and young stock, and employ 18 people.

Cows: 825 to 850 milking

Production: The farm is expected to produce about 1,600,000 kilowatt-hours annually.
