We're working hard to get CVPS SmartPower® into the homes of our customers. We’ll begin installing meters in February and continue through 2012.  During the process, we'll work hard to keep you well informed regarding the installation.  While you may have heard about CVPS SmartPower® from the local news media, CVPS representatives have also done many presentations to introduce our customers to CVPS SmartPower®, and to give you the opportunity to ask us questions about what is important to you. To learn when a presentation may be in your area or request that we present to your community group, click HERE. To receive updates on when CVPS SmartPower® will be implemented in your area text CVPS to 30364.

Here are the steps every customer can expect when CVPS
SmartPower® comes to your area:

  1. You will receive a letter informing you that installation is coming to your community (about 30 days prior to the start of installation).
  2. You will receive a postcard about two weeks prior to installation beginning in your community.
  3. CVPS's meter exchange contractor APEX will arrive to install meter.  Installation will take place.
