CVPS Storm Center

Anyone who has lived for a time in northern New England knows that severe weather and power outages can and do occur. Of course, not all outages are caused by wind, snow and ice, or by tree limbs hitting wires, but those often-related elements account for a large percentage. Birds, squirrels, car accidents and equipment failures can also knock out electric service.

CVPS wants to restore service as quickly as possible, and we pride ourselves on our restoration process. At times, major storm damage is so widespread that repair crews must work extended hours to get everyone's power back on, but we work around the clock to restore service as quickly as is safely possible.  To report an outage, please call 800-451-2877.
