Energy Efficiency
CVPS has historically offered a broad range of energy efficiency services to its
customers.
Since 1999, Vermont ratepayers have been offered a consistent set of statewide energy
efficiency programs through Efficiency Vermont,
which provides these programs on behalf of Vermont utilities. CVPS will continue
to answer efficiency questions and will also make referrals to
Efficiency Vermont. Check below for specific services.
Residential Customers
Residential customers looking for answers to questions on energy efficiency should
contact Efficiency
Vermont or the
Department of Public Service. Additional questions for CVPS

Small Commercial Customers
For information on efficiency programs including lighting, three-phase motors, HVAC,
refrigeration, process equipment and other electrical end-use equipment, please

Large Commercial and Industrial Customers
CVPS senior energy consultants throughout Vermont bring a wealth of experience and
education to serve our large commercial and industrial customers. They are in place
to answer energy questions, utility questions, and load-control questions, and to
provide billing explanations and guidance on electric efficiency measures. The senior
energy consultants will do site visits and make referrals to
Efficiency Vermont.
