CVPS began its 2009-2010 Shareheat with a commitment of $100,000 to match incoming
donations.

In 2007, CVPS created the Shareheat Business Partnership due to steep increases
in heating fuel costs. We invited Vermont businesses to pledge Shareheat matching
funds for the 2009-2010 heating season, which encouraged individual donations.
These Vermont businesses teamed with CVPS to create a pool of $43,200 in additional matching funds this heating season.
