Pack the Paramount
 The 2011 event will be held on June 17 and 18. Mark your calendars, start stocking up on those non-perishable food items today!
Together with WJJR-FM, CVPS
hosts the annual Pack the Paramount food drive each year to collect non-perishable
food for the Salvation Army, Rutland Community Cupboard and BROC of Rutland, Vt.
Over two days, thousands of food items are collected, filling all 848 seats and
the stage of the historic Paramount Theatre in downtown Rutland, Vt. The event is
culminated in a frenzied, but organized removal of food that has been amassed by
dozens of volunteers. Pack the Paramount is an energizing event, which visually
showcases how the collective efforts of thousands of people in the community can
make a tangible dent in alleviating hunger in Rutland.
