The
CV Greenteam is a diverse group of volunteer employees. This group varies from
project to project, contributing their time and effort towards events such as:
- Planting trees and improving streambanks
- Clearing and maintaining recreation trails
- Volunteering at a federal fish hatchery
- The cleanup of the Chittenden Reservoir
- The construction of a town park
Some of these events occur on an annual basis, but we are always looking for new
and exciting opportunities that will benefit not only the communities they are held
in but the employees and families of the volunteers. One of our goals is to
involve the children of our volunteers in order to make this a “family”
experience.
"The Greenteam fits
perfectly into several of the
company’s environmental objectives. We
have a great network of contacts across the state that we are reaching out to on various environmental initiatives. We're proud to to lead the CVPS Greenteam to further help the communities in our service territory with fun projects that are both educational and benefit Vermont's environment."
