Red Cross Blood Drives

CVPS hosts two in-house blood drives every year, and partners with two other businesses in December to host the annual Gift-of-Life Marathon at the Paramount Theathre in Rutland. The Gift-of-Life Marathon is one of the premiere, record-breaking blood drives in New England. CVPS employees conceived, marketed and volunteered to run this annual blood drive in 2003, and have organized it annually since then. In December 2006, the Gift-of-Life Marathon set a northern New England record, collecting 672 pints of blood, beating the previous record of 589 set by Manchester, N.H.

CV employees and their families donate around 200 pints of a blood at CV-sponsored events each year.
